Yes. The case closes with TSA-approved frame latches instead of zippers. TSA agents can open and relock them with standard tools during inspection, so nothing gets cut. More on how that works in our TSA locks guide.

A closed coil zipper can be split open with a ballpoint pen in seconds and re-zipped without a trace, and zipper failure is the most common way otherwise fine luggage dies.
